The connection from life in the past and the present
We all know that we all started from cavemen but when we look around, we don't see anyone holding clubs or living in caves. How did this happen? Lets take a trip back in time not to ancient Rome or Greece but further back. A trip to the rise of civilization.
First we must know the 8 features of civilisation which is cities, government, religion, job specialisation, social classes, arts and architecture, public works and last but not least writing. Cities were mostly based on population growth in which was mostly caused by having a surplus of food. Governments involved people such as priests would rule these cities and try their best to oversee the business and existence of the cities as they started to expand. Religious leaders such as those priests would conduct ceremonies to praise the gods and a successful harvest. Job specialisation became much more important when civilisation began to grow. Social classes is the status of an individual once he/she is specialised in a job. Arts and architecture were used to express ones belief of a civilisation. When things started getting complicated, writing was used to keep track of events. These 8 features were some of the few causes for civilisation.
The fertile crescent is the place where civilisation started. The fertile crescent is in Mesopotamia. Mesopotamia has very good soil even though the place is dry it had very good soil for farming. People decided to start farming with their own techniques. The better the techniques, the more food they would receive. Soon, the people had a surplus of food and they population began to grow. Mesopotamia was rule by priests not kings. At that time, kings were only meant to fight in war but once the war was over, they decided to keep their power to rule. The religion in Mesopotamia was polytheism which is the belief in more than one god or goddess. They believed that each god was responsible for a day in their life. Sumerian arts were made of precious stones and were made into realistic things. Mesopotamia used cuneiform as their way of writing. Cuneiform involved triangle shapes. People in Mesopotamia kept inventing new things.
Ancient Egypt is another place of civilisation. The nile river separated Egypt into two parts. These two parts had many common features but they always had war. King Menes was able to rule both parts by wearing a double crown. Pharoahs were the ones who ruled Egypt. Viziers were the ones who would take care of courts and discussions for the pharaoh. Same as Mesopotamia, their religion was also polytheism. Egyptians way of writing consist of many symbols. This was called Hieroglyphics. It was usually done on architectures. Pyramids, obelisks and the Sphinx were some examples of arts and architecture back then. People in Egypt were usually happy and thought they could live forever. They worked hard but always had time for their family.
Ancient China was a very successful civilisation that seemed to be separated from the world. They made a barrier (which were seas) because over a mountain named himalaya was a dangerous desert. China specialised in farming rice. Soon, they also had a surplus and then populated. China was ruled by emperors and empress. Chinese religion was mostly buddhism and just so you know taoism isn't a religion its a philosophy. In ancient China most people were farmers or soldiers. Their style of writing was the traditional Chinese characters. These were usually done on paper using a brush (calligraphy). The Great Wall Of China is a very special architecture. It was used to protect China from other places and war. Their inventions were very helpful. They invented things like the wheel, silk, paper, money and many more things including ice cream! Most people were facing hard times compared to Ancient Egypt. They kept inventing and there were many punishments for them.
Ancient India the early humans of India made tools for hunting and farming seemed to have developed too. Slowly, people were able to live there and have homes and soon cities rose. Ancient India had many kingdoms and each of them were ruled by a king. They soon made the kingdoms into empires. The common religion in Ancient India was Hinduism. The craftsmen in India made many religious sculptures like statues of their gods. The writing at those times barely made any sense. Ancient India usually had floods so they rebuilt cities on top of each other. According to this, life seems to have been very easygoing but Ancient India was actually a very hard civilisation to understand so who knows?
Pros and cons of daly civilisation
In conclusion, the past and the present may have many differences but they also have many connections through technology, tools and many more. Without these ancient things, we wouldn't live.

LpS are back! and now they are time travelling?!
Abby, Willy and Sarah find a mysterious time machine in front of their house. They decide to try it output it ended up malfunctioning and sending them to Mesopotamia! They meet cavemen Lilly and Husky. There was no one else near by so Abby, Sarah and Willy decide to make a deal with them. Abby and her friends will make them a house and in return, the cavemen will have to repair their machine.
First, they studied the ways of farming. That was easy. All they needed to do was collect crops and cut down trees. Second, domestication is a bit ironic to do with these little creatures right? So during story time, Husky tells them about how they domesticate plants and what humans do to animals to domesticate. Lastly, they finally finished the house. Though they had to clear out some trees, the cavemen were still proud to have a house.
The time machine was fixed, it was time to say goodbye. The pets said their farewells and hopped into the machine. When they reached home, they kept telling each other about their experiences at Mesopotamia. They are sure to visit again!
